On February 25th, 1964, Prince Buster arrived in England to promote Jamaican Ska (or "Blue Beat", as it was dubbed). As the crowd of young mods and photographers looked on, Prince Buster and fellow Blue Beat artist Brigitte Bond began to dance The Twist. 
 
A photograph that was snapped that day appeared in the May 19, 1979 issue of Melody Maker and Brigitte Bond became inspiration for the iconic "Beat Girl" logo.
 
Lovingly researched and replicated keeping the behavior of old film and cameras in mind, this print is what the original (still unfound) photo may have looked like. 
 
This iconic image (without watermark) has been professionally produced into gilcée prints with a semi-gloss finish.
